Poor PSP!

Happy Monday!  I hope everyone got enough candy over the weekend.  I don't want to look at chocolate again for a very long time.  So, there was a news article (Gamasutra) today where the president of Sony Computer Entertainment, Shuhei Yoshida, openly admitted that too much time was being spent selling the Playstation 3.  As a result, the PSP fell by the way side and did not bring in as many sales.

I think the last time they actually laid out a full promotion plan for the PSP was in February.  If they wanted to be smart, they wold emphasize the fact that it has wi-fi capabilities which helps out on games like Monster Hunter and Rock Band.  It's called strategic planning, business 101!

Games like Monster Hunter had their original start on the PS2, but did so much better with the PSP because it allows the player to interact with other players on a more efficient level.

As a gamer, I have both the PSP and Playstation 3.  However, the PSP has: incredible graphics, portable gaming, and connecting capabilities.  I understand not every game is made for the PSP, but I'd still pick it against the majority of other gaming consoles.
